Andreas Weimann

Andreas Weimann is an Austrian midfielder born in Vienna on 5 August 1991. He developed at FC Stadlau and Rapid Wien before joining Aston Villa in 2007 as a teenager. Weimann made his senior debut for Villa in 2010 and spent five years with the club, making 113 league appearances and scoring 17 goals. He moved into the Championship with Derby County in 2015, then joined Bristol City in 2018. At Bristol City, he became a regular attacking contributor, recording 50 goals in 205 appearances and reaching a personal peak with 22 goals in 2021–22. Later spells included a loan at West Bromwich Albion and a period with Blackburn Rovers before his return to Derby. Weimann has represented Austria from youth level through the senior team and is listed with Cheltenham.
