Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is an English defender, born in London on 26 November 1997, who developed at Crystal Palace after joining the academy at 11. Initially a winger and striker, he converted to right-back and made his senior Palace debut against Tottenham Hotspur on 25 February 2018. Wan-Bissaka quickly established himself at Selhurst Park, winning Crystal Palace’s Player of the Year award for 2018–19. In June 2019, he transferred to Manchester United, where his tackling, recovery work and one-on-one defending made him a regular defensive presence. He helped United win the 2023 EFL Cup and 2024 FA Cup, including the 2–1 final victory over Manchester City. Wan-Bissaka joined West Ham United in August 2024 and has broadened his contribution as a versatile full-back. After representing England at under-20 and under-21 level without a senior cap, he switched allegiance to DR Congo and played three matches at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
