Aleksa Vukanović attacks space and peels off the back line, using his height to pin centre-backs and finish from crosses. Aleksa Vukanović rose at Napredak Kruševac and was the Serbian SuperLiga Top Scorer in 2018/19 before transferring to Red Star. He thrives in central attacking zones. He delivered in the Champions League play-offs, scoring the decisive goal against Young Boys to secure group-stage qualification. International expansion followed with a stint in China’s Meizhou Hakka in 2022–23. Back in Serbia, Aleksa Vukanović became a cornerstone of FK Vojvodina from 2023, signing multiple extensions. As a target man or shadow striker, he links play with one-touch layoffs and presses high to force turnovers from the front. On the pitch he finishes moves when chances arise.
