Alessandro Vogliacco

Alessandro Vogliacco is an Italian defender born in Acquaviva delle Fonti on 14 September 1998. He developed at Bari before joining Juventus, where he won the 2016 Viareggio Cup with the Primavera side. His senior progression included spells with Padova and Pordenone, where he made 59 appearances across two seasons and established himself in Serie B. After a season at Benevento, Vogliacco moved permanently to Genoa in 2021. He returned to Genoa for the 2022–23 campaign, making 27 appearances as Alberto Gilardino’s side earned promotion to Serie A. At 1.86 metres, he has operated centrally or on the right of a back three, combining positioning and interceptions with composed distribution. Vogliacco is currently listed with Cremonese, continuing a career shaped by measured development through Italy’s professional divisions.
