Aldin Turkes

Aldin Turkes is a Bosnia-Herzegovina centre-forward born in Zug, Switzerland, on 22 April 1996. He developed in Swiss football and made his professional debut for FC Zürich in 2016. Turkes continued his senior career with FC Vaduz before establishing himself as a prolific scorer at FC Rapperswil-Jona, recording 24 league goals in 49 appearances between 2018 and 2019. His finishing earned him a move to Lausanne-Sport in 2019, where he scored 22 league goals in 34 matches and helped the club win promotion to Switzerland’s top flight in 2020. A serious ACL injury later interrupted his progress, keeping him out for an extended period before his return to competition. Turkes rebuilt his rhythm with FC Winterthur, scoring nine goals in 31 Super League matches during 2023/24. He represented Switzerland at youth level before receiving a senior call-up from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020.
