Adrien Truffert
Adrien Truffert is a French left-back born in Liège, Belgium, who developed in France after beginning at ES Jouy Saint-Prest and FC Chartres. He joined Stade Rennais’ academy in 2015, progressing through its youth teams and helping win the national U17 and U19 championships while appearing in the UEFA Youth League. Truffert signed his first professional contract with Rennes in May 2020. He made his senior debut against Monaco in September that year, entering as a substitute, providing an assist and scoring the winning goal before making his Champions League debut against Krasnodar. Across five seasons with Rennes, he recorded 191 appearances and nine goals, and wore the captain’s armband in 2024/25. Internationally, Truffert debuted for France in 2022 and won Olympic silver in 2024, starting the final. He joined Bournemouth in 2025, where he can also operate as a left midfielder or wing-back.
