Anatolii Trubin
Anatolii Trubin is a Ukrainian goalkeeper who was born in Donetsk on August 1, 2001. He began his development at Azovstal-2 Mariupol before joining Shakhtar Donetsk’s academy in 2014. Trubin made his senior debut on May 26, 2019, keeping a clean sheet in Shakhtar’s 4–0 victory over Mariupol. During the 2020/21 season, he displaced Andriy Pyatov as Shakhtar’s first-choice goalkeeper and made his Champions League debut in a 3–2 win against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu. In August 2023, Trubin joined Benfica, continuing his progression in Portugal. Trubin is also part of Ukraine’s international setup, while his 1.99-metre frame provides reach in goal and supports his command of high balls.
