Atanas Ioan Trică

Atanas Ioan Trică is a Romanian forward born in Craiova on 9 July 2004. Standing 1.91 metres, he developed in the youth system of Universitatea Craiova and made his senior breakthrough with the club. Trică scored his first professional goal in a 6–1 victory over Dinamo București on 10 February 2022. He then gained experience away from Craiova with CSA Steaua București and CS Tunari before joining CSM Slatina. At Slatina, he recorded seven goals in 26 appearances during the 2024–25 campaign, providing a more regular focal point in attack. A centre-forward, Trică is used around the penalty area and can contribute as a target for forward passes and hold-up play. He has represented Romania at under-20 and under-21 level and is currently listed with AEK Larnaca.
