Ahmed Touba
Ahmed Touba is an Algerian defender born in Roubaix, France, on 13 March 1998. He developed through FC Valenciennes and Belgian academies including Standard Liège before joining Club Brugge, where he made his professional debut in 2017. Touba was part of Club Brugge squads that won the 2016–17 Belgian Super Cup and 2017–18 Belgian league title. Loans to OH Leuven and Beroe Stara Zagora provided further senior experience before he moved to RKC Waalwijk in 2020. Across two Eredivisie seasons, he established himself as a physically strong centre-back involved in defensive work and build-up play. He joined İstanbul Başakşehir in 2022 and later spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Lecce in Serie A. Touba joined Panathinaikos in 2025, while his international path included Belgium Under-21 football before a senior Algeria debut in 2021 and selection for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
