Andrew Delmos Thomas

Andrew Delmos Thomas is a United States goalkeeper who plays for Seattle Sounders. Born in Moscow on September 1, 1998, he developed in the Watford academy and helped the club’s under-18 side win a South Championship. Alongside football, Thomas represented Middlesex youth cricket teams and played for England Under-17s in cricket. In 2017, he moved to Stanford University, where he became a three-time All-Pac-12 First Team selection and recorded 23 shutouts in 55 appearances. He also won the 2019 NCAA Elite 90 Award and earned a call-up to the United States Under-23 team. Seattle acquired Thomas through the MLS Waiver process in 2021, beginning his professional career with the Sounders. In the 2025 Leagues Cup, he started every match, kept four clean sheets, and received the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper Award.
