Alexandre Tégar

Alexandre Tégar is a French defender born on August 12, 2000, in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe. He began playing there for Red Star Pointe-à-Pitre and US Baie-Mahault before moving to mainland France and joining Dijon’s academy in 2015. Tégar developed at Dijon through 2019 and progressed into reserve football, making 30 appearances and scoring once for Dijon B. In 2021, he moved to Quevilly-Rouen Métropole, combining senior and reserve football over the following two seasons. He then spent part of 2023 with Gobelins before joining Les Herbiers on July 1 that year. At Les Herbiers, Tégar has established himself in the club’s National 2 squad, bringing experience from several levels of French football. His career reflects steady progression from overseas youth football to a regular senior role.
