Anton Willy Tanghe

Anton Willy Tanghe is a Belgian defender, born in Roeselare on 28 January 1999. He began playing with KSV Roeselare in 2005 before joining Club Brugge's academy in 2008. Tanghe spent eight years in the Club Brugge youth system, developing before moving into senior football. He signed for KV Oostende in summer 2019 and made his first-team debut on 24 January 2020, starting a four-year spell with the coastal club. As a 1.94-metre centre-back, he became a regular in Oostende's defence between 2020 and 2023. After Oostende's relegation, Tanghe remained with the club into the first half of the 2023–24 season. In January 2024, he transferred to Zulte Waregem, where Anton Tanghe continues to add height and defensive presence to the squad.
