Andri Fannar Stefánsson

Andri Fannar Stefánsson is an Icelandic midfielder born on 22 April 1991. He developed in Iceland’s domestic football system, establishing connections with KA Akureyri and Valur Reykjavik. Stefánsson spent an early spell with KA from 2008 to 2011, then represented Valur from 2011 to 2019. During his Valur years, the club won the Icelandic championship in 2017 and 2018, while also lifting the League Cup and Super Cup in 2018. He briefly joined Leiknir on loan in 2014, adding experience outside his principal clubs. He later returned to KA Akureyri, maintaining a long association with the northern club. At youth level, Andri Fannar Stefánsson was involved with Iceland’s under-19 side, linking his domestic career to the national development pathway.
