Alex Sobczyk

Alex Sobczyk attacks space as a centre-forward, stabbing runs behind the line to pin centre-backs. Alex Sobczyk rose through the Rapid Wien academy before breaking through at Spartak Trnava in 2019–2020. He shone with eight goals there. A shift to Górnik Zabrze (2020–2022) followed by Piast Gliwice broadened his range, and he represented Austria at U17–U19 levels. Later seasons with MFK Skalica and HSK Posušje kept him as a focal point up front. Sobczyk plays as a traditional #9, holding up and pressing high. He checks short then spins in behind to threaten the back line. As of January 2026 Sobczyk is without a club.
