Adam James Smith

Adam James Smith is an English right-back born in London in 1991. He developed in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy and made his Premier League debut for Spurs against Fulham in May 2012. Between 2009 and 2013, Smith gained senior experience on loan with Wycombe Wanderers, Torquay United, AFC Bournemouth, MK Dons, Leeds United, Millwall and Derby County. He returned to Bournemouth permanently in January 2014, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal after his earlier spell with the club. Smith helped Bournemouth win promotion to the Premier League in 2015 and later secured another promotion with the club in 2022. Primarily deployed at right-back, he has also been used on the left, offering defensive cover and an outlet when overlapping. Smith remains with Bournemouth, where his long service has made him an experienced member of the squad.
