Ásgeir Sigurgeirsson
Ásgeir Sigurgeirsson is an Icelandic forward who has built his senior career around KA Akureyri. After developing in Iceland, he joined KA in February 2017 and became a regular attacking presence for the club. Sigurgeirsson’s most productive league campaign came in 2018, when he scored 10 goals in 19 matches. He later maintained useful scoring output, registering seven league goals in 2021 and eight in 2024. In 2025, his role broadened beyond finishing as he led KA’s league campaign with seven assists while scoring five goals. Usually a centre-forward, Ásgeir Sigurgeirsson has also been used on either wing, giving KA flexibility across the front line. He helped KA win the Icelandic Cup in 2024 and has represented Iceland at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level.
