Alex Jay Scott

Alex Jay Scott is an English central midfielder born in Guernsey on 21 August 2003. He developed in Southampton’s academy from age eight, travelling between the island and the mainland, before leaving at 12. After a short spell in Bournemouth’s youth setup, Scott returned to senior football with Guernsey FC, becoming the club’s youngest player in 2019 at 16. He joined Bristol City in 2020 after impressing on trial and broke into their first team as a teenager. During three seasons with the Robins, Scott made 83 league appearances and also operated as a right wing-back or number 10. His display against Manchester City in the 2023 FA Cup earned praise from Pep Guardiola. Bournemouth signed Scott in August 2023, and he has since developed into a regular central midfielder for the Premier League club.
