Arouna Sangante

Arouna Sangante is a Senegalese football defender from Mbao, Senegal. Standing 1.89 metres tall, he developed from a youth prospect in the Parisian suburbs into a player associated with Le Havre’s system, including Le Havre II. Sangante then established himself in Le Havre’s senior team, operating primarily at centre-back and helping anchor the club’s defence. By the age of 23, he had become Ligue 1’s youngest captain, taking responsibility for leading Le Havre AC. That role has marked his emergence as a prominent young defender in French football. Sangante’s rise has also attracted attention beyond France, with Sevilla FC linked with a possible move.
