Andrés Salazar Osorio

Andrés Salazar Osorio is a Colombian defender from Rionegro who operates primarily at left-back. He began playing with Manantiales before developing in Atlético Nacional’s academy. Nacional sent him on loan to Valledupar in 2021 and Fortaleza C.E.I.F. in 2022, giving him experience in Colombia’s second tier. After returning, Salazar made his Atlético Nacional first-team debut in 2023 and helped the club reach the Torneo Apertura final. He also represented Colombia at the 2022 South American Games, the 2023 Under-20 South American Championship and the 2023 Under-20 World Cup. Salazar made his senior international debut in Colombia’s 1–0 win over Iraq on 16 June 2023. In August 2024 he joined Heart of Midlothian on loan, returned to Nacional in January 2025, and moved to Riga in 2026, continuing his career in European football.
