Abdelhamid Sabiri

Abdelhamid Sabiri is a Moroccan midfielder born in Goulmima on 28 November 1996. After moving to Germany as a child, he developed through TuS Koblenz and Darmstadt 98 before making his senior debut with Sportfreunde Siegen in 2015. His performances there led to 1. FC Nürnberg, followed by a move to Huddersfield Town and his introduction to Premier League football. Sabiri later rebuilt his career with SC Paderborn 07, where he operated in a deeper midfield role, before continuing in Italy with Ascoli and Sampdoria. His technical game combines progression from central areas with long-range shooting and set-piece delivery. After representing Germany at under-21 level, Sabiri chose Morocco in 2022 and featured at that year’s World Cup, scoring against Belgium in a 2–0 group-stage win. He is listed with Eyüpspor, adding another chapter to a career spanning Germany, England and Italy.
