Abel Rodrigues

Abel Rodrigues is a French defender born on 16 December 2001. He developed in England with Liverpool Under-18s, making appearances in the Premier League U18 during the 2019–20 season. Rodrigues later returned to France and joined Boulogne, where he competed in the National 2 and Championnat National structures. His senior development continued in the French lower divisions as he adapted to the demands of the game. He subsequently moved to Chantilly, adding National 2 experience to his career. Used primarily on the left side of defence, Rodrigues has also featured in left midfield and defensive midfield roles. At 1.70 metres, he is described as a left-footed player whose game centres on positioning, anticipation and technical security. A standout appearance came in Chantilly’s 3–0 Coupe de France win over FC Freyming in December 2025.
