Aleksa Pejić
Aleksa Pejić is a Serbian defensive midfielder born in Belgrade on 9 July 1999. He developed in the youth system of FK Brodarac and gained UEFA Youth League experience during the 2017/18 season. Pejić moved into senior football with FK Proleter Novi Sad, where he played in Serbia’s SuperLiga between 2019 and 2021. In January 2021, he made his senior debut for Serbia against the Dominican Republic and also appeared against Panama. Later that year, Pejić joined Shakhter Soligorsk and helped the Belarusian club win the Premier League title. He moved to Rapid Vienna in June 2022, making 35 appearances in all competitions during the 2022/23 campaign. After a spell with Maccabi Bnei Reineh in Israel, Pejić returned to the region with Zeljeznicar Sarajevo, where his 1.90-metre frame suits a holding role and defensive coverage.
