Aleksandar Pavlović

Aleksandar Pavlović is a Germany international defensive midfielder born in Munich on 3 May 2004. He began playing with SC Olching and SC Fürstenfeldbruck before joining Bayern München’s academy after being scouted at an indoor tournament in 2011. Pavlović developed through Bayern’s youth system and remained connected to the club as a ballboy at home matches. Aleksandar made his senior debut for Bayern under Thomas Tuchel as a substitute in the 8–0 Bundesliga win over Darmstadt on 28 October 2023. In the same breakthrough season, he made his first start against Heidenheim and later started Bayern’s Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. Pavlović made his senior Germany debut against Ukraine in June 2024, choosing to represent the country of his upbringing. At Bayern, he operates as a deep-lying midfielder who helps build from the back, progresses possession with forward passes and screens the defence through positioning.
