Adrian Constantin Alexandru Păun
Adrian Constantin Alexandru Păun is a Romanian midfielder born in Drăgășani on 1 April 1995. He began playing with Triumf Drăgășani in 2005 before joining CFR Cluj’s academy in 2008. Păun made his senior debut for CFR in March 2014 against Corona Brașov, beginning a long association with the club. Operating across midfield and wide attacking roles, he developed into a regular contributor for Cluj. From 2018 to 2022, Păun was part of five consecutive Romanian league-winning campaigns and also won a domestic cup. He joined Hapoel Beer Sheva in September 2022, ending his first extended spell in Romania. After his Israeli period, he returned to CFR Cluj in July 2024 and is again part of the club’s squad. Păun represented Romania at youth level and made his senior international debut against England in June 2021.
