Alexander Mark David Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alexander Mark David Oxlade-Chamberlain is an English central midfielder born in Portsmouth on 15 August 1993. He joined Southampton’s academy at seven and made his senior debut there before moving to Arsenal in 2011. At Arsenal, Oxlade-Chamberlain developed from an energetic wide player into a versatile midfielder and helped win three FA Cups and three Community Shields. He transferred to Liverpool in 2017, where his direct ball carrying and forward running strengthened Jürgen Klopp’s midfield. Oxlade-Chamberlain contributed to Liverpool’s 2019–20 Premier League title and collected the club’s major honours before leaving in 2023. He then played for Beşiktaş, winning the Turkish Cup, and joined Celtic in 2026. He has also represented England, while his right-footed game combines acceleration, progression and positional adaptability.
