Armando Obispo

Armando Obispo is a Dutch centre-back from ’s-Hertogenbosch who developed at PSV Eindhoven after joining the academy for the 2006–07 season. He progressed through PSV’s age groups before making his professional debut for Jong PSV in the Eerste Divisie against FC Den Bosch on 8 August 2016. During 2017–18, Obispo reached the senior side and featured in PSV’s 3–0 victory over VVV-Venlo. To gain regular top-flight experience, he moved to Vitesse on loan for 2019–20, making 26 appearances in the Eredivisie. After returning to Eindhoven, he continued competing for a first-team role and remained part of PSV’s defensive options. PSV extended his contract through 2027 in December 2024, with his passing and support for younger academy players cited in the decision. Obispo represented the Netherlands from under-17 to under-21 level before switching to Curaçao in late 2025.
