Adam Obert

Adam Obert is a left-footed Slovak defender, born in Bratislava on 23 August 2002. He began his development at Slovan Bratislava and moved to FC Zbrojovka Brno in 2012, spending six years in the Czech club’s system. In 2018, Obert joined UC Sampdoria’s youth academy in Italy, where he played primarily for the Primavera side. He moved to Cagliari in 2021 and made his senior debut against Fiorentina on 24 October that year. Obert helped Cagliari return to Serie A in 2022–23 before establishing himself more firmly in the first team, including a 2024–25 campaign in which he scored his first professional goal. He made his Slovakia debut against Chile on 20 November 2022 and was involved with the squad at UEFA Euro 2024. At 188 centimeters, Obert offers a left-footed option in central defence and can also operate at left-back.
