András Németh

András Németh is a Hungarian forward born in Cape Town, South Africa, on 9 November 2002. He began his youth development at Kubala Akadémia in Hungary, later spending time with KSK Hasselt before joining Genk in 2016. Németh progressed through Genk’s academy and made his senior debut in the 2021/22 season, scoring against Beerschot. In January 2023, he moved to Hamburger SV, scoring in each of his first two appearances before a knee injury interrupted his progress that spring. He represented Hungary at under-17 level at the 2019 European Championship and World Cup, scoring twice at the latter tournament, and made his senior debut in November 2022, scoring against Luxembourg. After a 2024/25 loan at Preußen Münster, Németh returned to Hungary to join Puskás Akadémia in July 2025. Standing 1.87 metres, he is primarily a central striker who can link play and operate in wider channels.
