Michael Amir Murillo Bermúdez

Michael Amir Murillo Bermúdez is a Panamanian right-back born in Colón on 11 February 1996. He developed at San Francisco FC and made his senior debut during the 2014–15 season, helping the club win the inaugural Copa Panamá in 2015. Murillo moved to the New York Red Bulls in 2017, became a regular starter, earned MLS All-Star recognition in 2018, and helped the team lift the Supporters’ Shield that year. In 2019, he transferred to Anderlecht, where he spent nearly four seasons competing in Belgium. He joined Marseille in August 2023 and broadened his role across the back line, including at left-back and centre-back. Murillo later moved to Beşiktaş in February 2026, continuing his European career in Türkiye. At international level, he started Panama’s matches against Belgium and England at the 2018 World Cup and scored against Uruguay at the 2024 Copa América.
