Alessandro Murgia
Alessandro Murgia is an Italian midfielder born in Rome on 9 August 1996. He developed at C.S. Colombo before joining Lazio’s youth academy in 2012, where he became part of a successful Primavera side. With Lazio’s youth team, Murgia won two Coppa Italia Primavera titles and one Supercoppa Primavera. He made his senior Lazio debut in September 2016 and scored his first Serie A goal against Torino the following month. In August 2017, he came off the bench to score a 93rd-minute winner against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana, securing a 3–2 victory. Murgia also scored in his European debut against Vitesse during the 2017–18 Europa League campaign. He later moved from Lazio to SPAL, initially on loan and subsequently permanently. Murgia is currently listed with Guidonia Montecelio 1937.
