Ahmet Muhamedbegović

Ahmet Muhamedbegović is an Austrian defender who developed through SC Untersiebenbrunn and the AKA St. Pölten academy. He made his professional debut for SKN St. Pölten in the Austrian Bundesliga in December 2016, later spending the 2018–19 season on loan at SKU Amstetten and making 22 appearances. After returning, Muhamedbegović established himself at St. Pölten, recording 64 Bundesliga appearances and three goals before the club’s relegation in 2021. He then moved to DAC Dunajská Streda, where he made 51 official appearances and played in European competition, including a 3–0 Conference League win over Cliftonville in 2022. In May 2023, he signed for Olimpija Ljubljana and featured in Champions League qualifying. Muhamedbegović is primarily a left-sided centre-back, combining a 1.86-metre frame with build-up passing and defensive work, and he is now listed with Dynamo Dresden.
