Aleksandr Mrynskiy

Aleksandr Mrynskiy is a Kazakhstan defender who plays for Kairat Almaty. Born on 15 July 2004, he developed through the Kairat youth system before moving to Kairat-Zhastar, the club’s secondary side, in 2021. He signed his first professional contract in March 2023. Between 2021 and 2025, Mrynskiy made more than 70 appearances for Kairat-Zhastar and scored four goals. His development led to first-team involvement at Kairat, where he was part of the squad that won the 2024 Kazakhstan Premier League title. In the 2025–26 season, he appeared in eight UEFA Champions League matches, including a full game against Arsenal in London. He has represented Kazakhstan at U17, U19 and U21 level and made his senior debut in 2026. At 1.77 metres, Aleksandr Mrynskiy has also covered right midfield, right wing and the left flank when required.
