Andrew Mitchell

Andrew Mitchell is a Northern Irish forward who developed through youth football before establishing himself in the senior game. Born on 25 January 1994, he came through Greenisland and spent time in the academies of Manchester City and Rangers. Mitchell made senior appearances for Rangers and belonged to the side that won the 2012–13 Scottish Third Division title. After spells with Annan Athletic and Southport, he found his most prolific form at Dungannon Swifts, scoring 22 goals in 33 games during the 2016–17 season. His performances led to moves involving Crusaders, Linfield, Glentoran and Larne, where he continued to operate as a forward and collected domestic honours. Mitchell also returned to Dungannon and featured in Conference League qualifying, while his football education progressed into coaching with a first-team role at Derry City.
