August Mikkelsen

August Mikkelsen is a Norwegian second striker born on 24 October 2000. He developed through Tromsdalen UIL and Tromsø IL, making his senior debut for Tromsdalen on loan in 2018 before returning to Tromsø and appearing in the Eliteserien in 2019. Mikkelsen established himself in 2021, scoring eight league goals in 27 appearances, then adding seven goals and five assists in 2022 while winning Tromsø’s supporters’ Player of the Year award. In January 2023, he moved to Hammarby IF, where he scored once in 21 appearances. Bodo/Glimt signed August Mikkelsen in March 2024, and he scored on his league debut before recording two goals in three Champions League qualifying appearances. His movement and close control make August Mikkelsen a versatile link player for Bodo/Glimt.
