Alesio Mija

Alesio Mija is an Albanian defender born in Greece on 20 June 2001. He developed in FK Dinamo Tiranë’s youth system from 2016 to 2019 before entering the senior setup of FC Dinamo City, formerly known as Dinamo Tirana. Between 2019 and 2024, Mija established himself in Albanian football and made more than 30 appearances in the Abissnet Superiore. On 1 July 2024, he moved to Sheriff Tiraspol, beginning a new stage with a club active in European qualifying competition. At Sheriff, Mija has been used primarily at centre-back, with appearances also reported in defensive midfield and at right-back. He played 90 minutes against Utrecht in Europa League qualifying in July 2025 and later featured against Anderlecht and Dacia Buiucani. Mija is also listed with Partizani.
