Adama Mbengue
Adama Mbengue is a Senegalese defender born in Rufisque on 1 December 1993. He developed with Sport Galaxy in Dakar before moving to the United States in 2012, where he played for Orlando City’s U23s and became the first player promoted to the senior team. Mbengue made his professional debut soon afterward and helped Orlando City reach the 2013 U.S. Open Cup quarter-finals, also contributing to their USL Championship title. After returning to Senegal with Diambars, he joined Caen in 2017. At Caen, Mbengue played in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, making 19 appearances in his first top-flight season. He debuted for Senegal in 2017 and was included in their 2018 World Cup squad. Following his Caen spell, he continued in France with Châteauroux and later Dieppe, where his defensive experience has included work at centre-back as well as left-back.
