Aleksandr Martynovich

Aleksandr Martynovich is a Belarusian centre-back born in Minsk on 26 August 1987. He developed at the Olympic Reserve School before breaking into senior football with Dinamo Minsk in 2007, establishing himself in the Belarusian top flight. In July 2010, Martynovich moved to FC Krasnodar, beginning a long association with the Russian club. After an initial spell from 2010 to 2015, he returned in 2016 and remained there until 2022, becoming a senior figure while contributing to the team’s European campaigns. Martynovich represented Belarus at under-21 and senior level, bringing his height and defensive positioning to international football. In 2024, he joined Kairat Almaty, where his experience strengthened the back line and helped the club win the Kazakhstan Premier League and 2025 Super Cup. At 192 centimetres, Aleksandr Martynovich offers aerial presence, physical defending and composed distribution from central defence.
