Alasana Manneh
Alasana Manneh is a Gambian midfielder born in Banjul on 8 April 1998. He developed at Senegal’s Aspire Academy and later moved to Qatar, becoming the first Aspire-trained player to join Barcelona’s youth system directly in 2016. Manneh featured for Barcelona’s under-19s in the UEFA Youth League before beginning senior football with a loan to CE Sabadell in 2017. He then spent two seasons with Etar Veliko Tarnovo and moved to Górnik Zabrze in 2019, establishing himself in Poland’s Ekstraklasa. After leaving Górnik, Manneh joined Odense BK in 2022 and continued his career in Denmark. He moved to Hibernian in January 2025, adding Scottish Premiership football to his European experience. Internationally, Manneh has represented Gambia, including at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
