Andrei Macriţchii

Andrei Macriţchii is a Moldovan defender born on 13 February 1996. He developed in the Sheriff Tiraspol academy and made his Moldovan National Division debut in 2013. Macriţchii then gained senior experience with FC Tiraspol on loan before continuing his career with Petrocub Hînceşti. From 2020 to 2022, he played for Ripensia Timişoara in Romania, extending his experience beyond Moldova. He returned home in 2023 to join Zimbru, where he remains registered. At international level, Macriţchii represented Moldova in a friendly against Saudi Arabia on 26 February 2018. Standing 183 centimetres tall, he has been noted for his ability to cover both full-back positions, giving his teams defensive flexibility.
