Adam Stefan Lundkvist

Adam Stefan Lundkvist is a Swedish defender, primarily a left-back, born in Nyköping on 20 March 1994. He developed with Nyköpings BIS before joining IF Elfsborg in 2011 and making his Allsvenskan debut in 2013. Lundkvist moved from midfield into a full-back role in 2014, combining wide positioning with forward runs and crossing. He helped Elfsborg win the Svenska Cupen in the 2013–14 season and remained with the club until 2018. That year, he moved to Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer, where he also covered right-back and helped the team win the 2018 U.S. Open Cup. He later joined Austin FC before returning to Sweden. Lundkvist signed for BK Häcken in 2024 and has represented Sweden at youth level, including the 2016 Olympics, and at senior level.
