Arttu Mikael Lötjönen

Arttu Mikael Lötjönen is a Finnish defender born on 28 January 2004. He developed in the youth ranks of Toejoen Veikot before moving to FC Jazz in Pori, where he made his senior debut in the Finnish third tier in 2020. Lötjönen established himself with FC Jazz during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, gaining experience in senior football while still a teenager. In January 2023, he joined Italian club Sampdoria and played for its Primavera 1 under-19 side. That period added experience in Italy’s structured defensive environment, although he did not make a competitive first-team league appearance for Sampdoria. Lötjönen returned to Finland in December 2024 when KuPS signed him, bringing his development into the Veikkausliiga. He has also represented Finland at under-18 and under-21 level, continuing his progression as a defender with experience in both Finnish and Italian football.
