Armand Laurienté

Armand Laurienté is a French attacker born in Gonesse on 4 December 1998. He developed at US Roissy-en-France and INF Clairefontaine before joining Rennes’ academy in 2013. After signing his first professional contract in 2018, Laurienté moved on loan to Orléans, gaining senior experience in Ligue 2. He subsequently joined Lorient on loan for the 2019–20 season, helping the club win the Ligue 2 title before making the move permanent. At Lorient, he established himself as a direct wide forward, using acceleration, dribbling and inside runs to carry the ball into the final third. A memorable moment came with his long-range free kick against Nantes in 2021, showcasing his distinctive dead-ball technique. Sassuolo signed Laurienté in August 2022, where he continued as a left-sided attacking option and scored 18 goals during the club’s 2024–25 Serie B campaign.
