Alban-Marc Lafont

Alban-Marc Lafont is a French goalkeeper born in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, on 23 January 1999. He joined the Toulouse academy in 2014 and made his Ligue 1 debut the following year at 16, becoming the competition’s youngest starting goalkeeper at the time. Lafont kept clean sheets in his first two league appearances and quickly established himself as one of France’s most prominent young goalkeepers. In 2018, he moved to Fiorentina, gaining experience in Serie A before returning to France with Nantes in 2019. Across five seasons with Nantes, Lafont developed into a senior figure and captained the team during its run to the 2022 Coupe de France title. He later joined Panathinaikos on loan in 2025, continuing his career in Greece after losing his starting place at Nantes. Initially involved with France, Lafont switched his international allegiance to Ivory Coast in 2025 and is listed with Amed.
