Ádám Gergely Kovácsik

Ádám Gergely Kovácsik is a Hungarian goalkeeper born in Budapest on 4 April 1991. He began as a field player at Budapest Honvéd before moving into goal at seven and joining Ferencváros in 2002, where he won youth honours including the 2006 Nike Premier Cup. In 2007, Kovácsik moved to Reggina in Italy and made his Serie B debut in 2010, later gaining experience on loan with Foligno, Pavia and Carpi. He returned to Hungary in August 2015 to join Videoton, becoming the club’s first-choice goalkeeper and helping win the 2017–18 NB I title and 2018–19 Magyar Kupa. Kovácsik also played in Champions League and Europa League qualifying campaigns during his Fehérvár spell. He made his Hungary senior debut in November 2017 and was part of the side that finished third at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. After time with ETO Győr and Mezőkövesd, he joined Paks in August 2024.
