Andrej Kotnik
Andrej Kotnik is a Slovenian midfielder born in Nova Gorica on 4 August 1995. He developed in the Gorica academy and made his PrvaLiga debut for Gorica in July 2015. In early 2017, Kotnik moved to Crotone and made a Serie A appearance as a substitute against Palermo. He returned to Slovenia with Maribor in 2019 before joining Koper in February 2022. At Koper, he helped the club win the 2021/22 Slovenian Cup and recorded 12 league goals in 32 matches during the following season. Kotnik then moved to China, playing for Meizhou Hakka in 2023 and spending part of 2024 on loan with Dalian Yingbo. He later returned to Slovenia with Celje, where the 189-centimetre attacking midfielder can also operate in wider or forward positions.
