Aboubakary Kanté attacks space, using pace to run beyond the line and threaten the channel. Kanté profiles as a mobile striker who links play with one-touch layoffs and vertical runs. He keeps defenders honest in transition. Kanté made his professional debut for Béziers in 2018. A breakout season in 2018–19 saw Kanté score 10 goals in Ligue 2 for Béziers. He moved to Cercle Brugge in Belgium, then spent four seasons in Spain's Segunda with Fuenlabrada and Huesca. Kanté earned his first cap for Gambia in June 2021. In 2025 he signed for USL Dunkerque to lead their attack.
