Anton Kade
Anton Kade is a German winger born in Berlin on 17 January 2004. He began his development at Sportfreunde Kladow before joining Hertha BSC’s academy in 2012. At Hertha, Kade progressed through the youth ranks, impressed in the U19 Bundesliga and earned the Fritz Walter Bronze Medal in 2021. He made his professional debut for Hertha BSC against RB Leipzig in February 2022, then moved to FC Basel 1893 later that year. Across three seasons in Switzerland, he became an established first-team player and helped Basel win the Swiss Super League and Swiss Cup in 2024/25. Kade returned to Germany in 2025 to join FC Augsburg, where his wide attacking role has also developed toward right-sided midfield or wing-back duties. He has represented Germany at youth level and is listed with both the Germany U20 and Germany U21 teams.
