Ári Mohr Jónsson
Ári Mohr Jónsson is a Faroese football defender who plays primarily as a left-back. Born on 22 July 1994, he developed in Tórshavn before moving to Denmark, where he joined Silkeborg IF. With Silkeborg, Jónsson was part of the squad that won the Danish 1st Division in 2013/14 and gained experience in both the second tier and Superliga. He later continued his Nordic career with Sandnes Ulf in Norway, playing in the OBOS-ligaen from 2018. Jónsson subsequently returned to HB Tórshavn, where he was part of teams that won the Faroese Cup in 2022/23 and 2023/24. He has represented the Faroe Islands since debuting in 2013 and scored against Malta in a 2020 Nations League draw. At HB, Jónsson has also been used as a left midfielder and featured in 2025 Conference League qualifying.
