Áki Johannesen

Áki Johannesen is a Faroese footballer born on November 11, 2002. He developed in the B68 Toftir setup and was appearing for B68 II in the Faroese second division by 2019, gaining senior experience as a teenager. Johannesen later established himself with B68’s first team, featuring in the Premier League during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He subsequently moved to HB Tórshavn, where he was integrated into the squad for the 2025 campaign. Johannesen was included in HB’s matchday group for both UEFA Conference League qualifying ties against Brøndby, a 1–1 draw and a 0–1 defeat, though he did not enter either match. He also represented the Faroe Islands at under-21 level, earning nine caps, and played the full match in HB’s 1–1 Tórshavn derby draw with B36 on September 14, 2025.
