Abdoulrahmane Harroui
Abdoulrahmane Harroui is a midfielder for Hellas Verona. Born in Leiden on 13 January 1998, he developed with LV Roodenburg, UVS Leiden and Alphense Boys before joining Sparta Rotterdam’s academy. Harroui progressed through Jong Sparta and made his senior debut for Sparta’s first team in February 2018, establishing himself in the midfield. In 2021, he moved to Sassuolo initially on loan and completed a permanent transfer to the Serie A club in 2022. He joined Frosinone in 2023 before signing for Verona in July 2024. Harroui has represented the Netherlands at under-21 level, including the 2021 European Championship, and received a senior Morocco call-up in September 2021. At club level, he offers versatility across central, defensive and attacking midfield roles, combining ball progression and through-passing with pressing and tackling.
